Young Professionals in Yachting The Netherlands quarterly assemblies provide a consistent platform for its members to interact with one another and create lasting relationships – professionally and personally. Following in the footsteps of well-established chapters, so too did the success of YPY The Netherlands inspire a new wave of young professionals in the international yachting sector to come together with new groups being formed in New Zealand and Germany in its wake.
Meet the board of YPY The Netherlands
Year 1986, enthusiastic and good at connecting people Jorrit has extensive experience in the maritime industry and is currently sales manager for Damen Yachting for the brands: Amels, SeaXplorer and Yacht Support.
Jorrit has embraced the YPY mission and vision and is ready to lead this inspiring group of young professionals in yachting in The Netherlands in the coming years.
Finding the perfect solution for her clients is what excites her the most but besides her sales responsibilities, she is also managing the logistic organization of all yacht shows, as well as the other marketing activities around YachtCloud.
Her goal for YPY is to spread her enthusiasm and energy, and work on new, exciting and surprising events! By doing so, Nikusia would like to attract young, new faces to the yachting industry.
Back in the Netherlands, Wampe got the opportunity to work for Studio Delta, specialized in naval architecture for yachts. Here Wampe has been working for 6 years, managing the marketing department.
In 2017 Wampe joined YPY. 'I have always experienced all events very positively. A nice group of young and motivated people. Now in 2021 I really look forward to working together, come up with strong ideas to achieve the YPY goals'.
Her goal for her time ‘onboard’ is to make the social media expressions ‘more human’ and to let social media play a key role in the process of getting to know your fellow members on a more personal level.
