Born in the UK, Abigail graduated with a degree in BA Fashion Marketing. She started her professional career in PR and marketing across the lifestyle sector, transitioning into the yachting world at media platform Superyachts.com. It was from here she then joined IYC UK starting in sales & charter, and more recently progressing into charter management. Abigail has experienced the benefits of joining YPY early on in her career and now as a board member is enthusiastic to be apart of building this ever growing global community of young professionals.

Emmanuel, an award-winning actor, musician and entrepreneur, is the Managing Director and Founder of GF Entertainment. GFE, as it is commonly coined by clients and stakeholders, is a boutique entertainment company providing A-list artists, DJs and access to the world’s most sought-after invitation-only events for Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWIs), primarily within the Superyacht industry. Emmanuel, a fun, dynamic and professional director, has a unique 13 years experience in International Business and has been providing entertainment services within the superyacht industry since 2017.

I grew up traveling between Australian beaches and Swedish mountains. After traveling to Europe at every opportunity as an adult, I finally moved to London in 2018. With work experience across education, small business management and sustainable fashion events I fell into the Yachting industry when looking for a role in London that would bring new challenges and experiences. Over 5 years later I now working at Edmiston as a Yacht Account Manager within Yacht Management. As the industry grows and professionalises it is an exciting space to work in. I am fresh to YPY and am excited to get involved and see what is up and coming within the industry.

Gemma spent the last decade onboard as superyacht crew, clocking up many miles working on both sailing and motor yachts. While travelling the world, she built up her writing portfolio using her industry knowledge and skills gained from previous copywriting positions at travel companies. Gemma returned to land last year full-time and now uses her industry knowledge to write with authenticity. As well as her journalistic industry-based writing, she helps businesses and brands tell their story through various content writing services.

Hi, my name is Izzy and I lead Superyacht Crewing team at Faststream Recruitment.
I am passionate about our industry and particularly helping superyacht crew find their ideal positions. We work in such a diverse and global field it’s great to able to support those of all experience find their dream role. I lead a team of experts who work with some of the world’s largest superyachts, including yacht owners, yacht managers and shipyards around the world.
I’m thrilled to be the Sponsorship Director for the YPY (Young Professionals in Yachting), a network of like-minded individuals who share a common interest in the superyacht industry. I’m looking forward to connecting with other members and supporting YPY’s mission to promote education and networking opportunities.
During my spare time skiing is my passion but in the summer months I can be found rowing up the Itchen River.

Managing Director of CrewPass

Conrad started his career in the yachting industry nearly ten years ago, working as crew on superyachts. Four years ago, he decided to return to shore and quickly carved himself a new career in maritime security. During this last year, he designed and launched a highly successful innovative crew management software company CrewPass, running background checks on crew, which is becoming part of the standard process for marine employment and common practice by agencies, vessels and crew members.

Remie graduated with a law degree in the UK and then went onto work on superyachts in the Med; both private and charter.
When returning to the UK, Remie qualified as a lawyer and is now an associate in the yachts team at Hill Dickinson, advising a range of international clients on the sale and purchase of yachts.
